Teeth Whitening with Smile Brilliant

Often times our busy momtrepreneur lifestyles have us turning to strong “cuban” espresso coffee and relaxing the stress away with wine nights watching Shadow Hunters, so maintaining a white smile can be rather difficult. Normally, I just use a whitening toothpaste and your occasional activated charcoal, but I’m super excited to say that I got a chance to try a custom-fitted teeth whitening system from Smile Brilliant!

How Does It Work?

Once I received my Smile Brilliant box in the mail, I opened it to find a full blown kit that includes: Base and Catalyst Paste to make your impressions, along with detailed instructions. You’ll also receive your tooth whitening gels and desensitizing gels in the kit! You pretty much start by mixing the pastes together (reminds me of my grade school days with play dough) and then pressing them into the plastic trays, you’ll pop them into the mouth, bite down and hold them there for 2+ minutes then let them sit out until the pastes are firm. Plop them into the included, prepaid mailer, and within a couple of weeks, you’ll receive your custom-fitted trays in the mail, and can start whitening right away.

TWO WEEKS LATER

You simply squeeze a small amount of the teeth whitening gel into your trays, and then pop them in for 45 minutes, up to as long as three hours (not recommended that long if are prone to have tooth sensitivity). Once done, rinse and apply the desensitizing gel for around 5-15 minutes to help your teeth re-hydrate and reduce sensitizing.

For each treatment, I left my trays in for 45 minutes and noticed the stains on my teeth slowly disappearing with each session. I took a couple of day’s in between sessions because I am prone to tooth sensitivity. I did see that by the third treatment, my teeth were starting to get whiter!

Needless to say I am one happy camper with Smile Brilliants system and I will still continue to apply the treatments once a week just to maintain my teeth looking white!
