There were many things I learned throughout my time in quarantine, but one of the most significant changes I made was to my personal style. Since I was a child, I’ve always had an interest in fashion and beauty.
To be honest, I went through my closet like three times and discovered that some of the items I’d been wearing were either stuff I didn’t like or that didn’t flatter me in the way I thought they would. This blog isn’t about how I decluttered my closet or how to develop your own personal style; we’ll get to those topics at a later time.
Listed below are my top reasons for making the switch to a time capsule/minimalist wardrobe! Because they apply to everyone, I’m going to tell you about the advantages and benefits of creating time capsule clothing. Hopefully, you’ll take something away from it.
It’s timeless.
It is, as previously stated, timeless. implying that it is everlasting (if you buy basic yet necessary pieces) I don’t buy clothes very often, so it makes perfect sense for me to stay true to that which is never dull or out of style.
It is elegant and classy.
In case you think neutrals are boring, let me assure you that they are not. Many iconic models and celebrities, such as Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe, wore neutral colors and looked very classic. There are still modern celebrities who wear classic clothing in the twenty-first century. Furthermore, neutral colors appear elegant and chic.
NEUTRAL COLORS WORK WITH EVERYTHING.
We all recognize that blacks, whites, and a few browns are wardrobe staples; when I say neutral colors go with anything, I mean it! Be it winter, summer, spring, or fall… it’s ideal to layer up with different neutral shades of clothing during colder months and add a little color for summers and springs! Pastel colors were popular in 2020, and they’re here to stay!
After all, what makes you happy is what matters!

I started realizing that I have far too many clothes that I no longer wear or have never worn in my life. I regret expenditures on things that don’t make me feel happy and confident, or that I wasn’t comfortable with, or that simply didn’t match my personal style.
Minimal necessities would be ideal if you needed more closet space and money.

I’ve always liked dainty minimal jewelry, and it would look great with a simple and clean wardrobe and classic pieces. Particularly if you buy quality gold pleated or gold imitation jewels.

Why did I decide to go minimalist with my wardrobe? I’ll tell you something: it’s not just about saving cash, time, and having more closet space. People have complimented my outfits. Browns and neutrals enhance my skin tone, who wouldn’t like getting admiration?
So, find your shades and commit to it, in my opinion! Don’t get me wrong: I’m not done with bright colors and prints.

When you have a colour scheme of 6 or 8, it makes shopping a way easier because you know which item you’re looking for, saving you time and money.

It has been conclusively demonstrated that the colors black, snowy white, creamy caramel, greys, and beige make everything appear more expensive and refined. As previously stated, these are classic shades that instantly give you a sophisticated and elegant appearance. Especially if you invest in high-quality materials such as linen, silk, cashmere, or satin.
This is my personal opinion on personal style and colors, but what you like and feel more comfortable in is ultimately what counts in the end. I believe that “style is a representation of your attitude and personality,” so wear whatever makes you happy!
